Getting Started
- Double click on the RD MWII icon on your desktop to start RD MWII.

The RD MWII icon should appear in your system tray to let you know that it is running.
- Start Rail Simulator and go intothe options menu and choose gameplay options.
- Change the Control Model to Expert. This is required for the RailDriver's levers to fully function.

- Now start your route or scenario.
- When the route has finished loading select the train you want to control.
- After selecting a train press the RailDriver Run/Stop button and the RailDriver will assume control.
Reprogramming
Follow these steps if you want to reprogram the buttons on your RailDriver:
- Click on the RD MWII icon in your system tray and select your Rail Driver from the popup menu.

- Click on the programable button you want to reprogram. The Record/Edit Macro window will open.
- Type on your keyboard the macro you want the button to perform.
- Click on the "OK" button to finish programming the button.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until you are finished reprogramming your RailDriver.
- Close the RailDriver device programming window to finish reprogramming your RailDriver. Your changes will automatically be saved.

Troubleshooting Tips
General Tips
- Double check that you have the latest patch installed for Rail Simulator.
- Make sure you select a train before pressing the RailDriver Run/Stop button.
Corrupted Scripts
- Check for RailDriver.dll
- Go to the folder where you have installed Rail Simulator.
- Go to the Rail Simulator\plugins folder and make sure RailDriver.dll is in this folder.
- Modify ReportConfig.txt
- Go to C:\Program Files\PI Engineering\RailDriver MWII\XKeyDevices\Vid05F3Pid00D2
- Open ReportConfig.txt

Find the line that reads
module plugins\RailDriver.dll

Change that line to show the path to your Rail Simulator installation. Example:
module C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator\plugins\RailDriver.dll
